About me
My name is Lynn Mullane, DHP, I am qualified in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Hypnoanalysis. I trained at the prestigious Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy in Southend, Essex.
I first became interested in hypnotherapy after reading an article in a magazine from a Sunday paper. The article was about a woman with a brain tumour, by using hypnotherapy she changed her life. Consequently, from that moment on, I knew I wanted to help people using hypnosis and hypnotherapy. Years later I still have the article but now understand how powerful our sub conscious mind is.
To ensure that all my clients go through a professional and safe therapy, I am a member of UK regulatory board CNHC; I abide by their strict code of ethics. To become a member you have to be personally invited or have gone through comprehensive training with proven qualifications. I have a listing on Hypnotherapy Directory.
After 6 years I understood that some people are apprehensive, even unbelieving, of hypnosis and hypnotherapy and how it works. I decided to take a diploma at Southend University adding Counselling to my practice.
This means I can offer an integrative choice of therapies giving clients more options. My ethos is to help people and have a positive impact on their lives.
I went through four intense years of training to become a qualified and professional counsellor. I have an up to date CRB check. I am a member of the NCPS and abide by their ethical framework ensuring a professional and ethical service.
